I'm a mess.

I was at work having chest pains when my left arm started going numb. YOU'RE worried? Local doctor says it's chest wall stuff. MY doctor hooked me up and the EKG says everything is okay. He sets me up with the nuclear stress test. I read the info. So now, not only do I have to worry about Iran enriching uranium, I have to forgo ALL caffeine for a 24 to 48 hour period before the test. THAT is going to kill me. My hand is pemanently stained red because I have a coke in my hand so often.

I really had to make sure that was spelled right.

So calm down now because I'm getting it all checked out. I got my lipitor prescription refilled and a big bottle of one-a-day "baby" aspirin.

I sense a diet soon.

Just kill me now.

Gray day, bad mood, so I head to my therapist for medication.

My daughter accompanied me.

I grabbed the keys to the car and announced that I was going to put gas in the car. I saw her hurriedly putting her shoes on through the frosted glass by the front door. While we were eating I asked what possessed her to come with me.

"I knew you were coming for sushi."

"How?"

"You NEVER go to just put gas in the car. Ever."

Distance to the closest gas station: Two blocks
Distance to sushi: Two miles
Daughter smart enough to figure me out: Priceless

Live blogging the Sabres-Rangers game

Sabre passes to another Sabre

That Sabre loses the puck to a Euro Ranger.

A Canadian Sabre slams into the Euro Ranger causing the puck to careen to another Sabre.

Canadian Sabre skates away laughing towards the bench.

Euro Ranger cusses Canadian Sabre in foreign language and tries not to look hurt.

Puck slides the length of the ice.

Great pass.

Ref picks up puck.

Ref drops puck on blue dot.

Puck lies motionless as two players hit each other's sticks and ankles.

Ranger finally kicks puck to another Ranger.

Sabre steals puck from Ranger.

Ranger slams into Sabre.

Both teams skate up and down the ice fighting over puck.

Goalies yawn.

I love hockey.

Allie made a comment on a post and I replied. I don't know how many of you are like me and pop into comments to see what's been added and what's been responded too. So I'll save you the trouble and make a new post out of the comment and then expand on the thought.

You're welcome.

The comment was made on me mentioning that I have too many naked women thought fantasies. Being that I'm an average hetero male we can say that it makes up a good amount of time during my day.

Below is the comment and the response.

Growing up I never would have thought of you as the man who has too many naked woman fantasies. Good job.

ya see allie, a grown up doesn't share those inclinations with his high school aged daughter's high school aged female friends. just a rule I guess.

What is also interesting is the "Good job" part of the comment.

Now is it a good job that I HAVE the fantasies, or is it a good job that a high school aged girl friend of my daughter running through my house in her pijamas and c-cup blouse puppies was always comfortable?

Knowing Allie the way I do....it's both.

I mean the girl posted a banana on her blog and referred to size.

Love you Allie.

FUCK IT

My wife hates it when I swear.

FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK IT!!

Keeps me from punching holes in the wall.

I would never punch my wife.

Ever.

Besides, she'd leave me and take half of everything.

So I play nice hoping to out live her.

Then I get it all.

Crack top computer

I sit here relaxing with my legs crossed.

Watching Hockey Night In Canada.

Ottawa leads Jersey 2-0.

I feel Shaz smiling.

The TV is muted.

Because I am listening to Revelations by Audio Slave.

On iTunes.

On repeat.

While I blog.

I'm in heaven.

I don't deserve it.

Because I have way too many naked women thought fantasies.

Oh well.

I never get up to watch the sunrise unless I work that day.

I love seeing it though.

For some reason it always makes me feel like I'm in Phoenix even though I can't recall ever seeing the sunrise there.

I got the word this week that my tour of Canada has been extended for another year. I will be here through September of 2008.

That means I get to take this thing called home leave. Home leave is vacation time that does not count against my regular banked vacation time.

It's also paid for by the govt.

I have about a month's worth.

So in October I am contemplating hopping in a rental car and driving for 10 days or so. Maybe from Vancouver to Miami and back. Maybe just 10 days of blue highways with my camera. Maybe alone. Maybe with strangers. Maybe with family.

You know I've never been to Memphis. I have friends in DC. I know people in L.A..

Hmmmm

Yeah, road trip, definitely

This is my wife and her two sisters Mary (left) and Roxana (right)

It was the first time the three of them had been together in at least five years and the first time since they were young women that they were together without the kids and men who pester them.

Needless to say they had a grand time. They laughed until the pissed themselves.

It was what they all needed in this time of a mother who is aging and having some health issues.

It cost us a good deal of money and effort to make it happen but it was worth many times that.

April is National Library Week

By XAVIER ZARAGOZA/The Daily Dispatch

City Clerk Brenda Aguilar, left, and city librarian Glenda Bavier, right, watch was Mayor Ray Borane signed a proclamation announcing April as National Library Week. Douglas Mayor proclaimed April as National Library Week.

Too bad the picture didn't come out so you could see these fools in the border town where I used to live and work.

Sharp as bowling balls the lot.

The pee wee league baseball schedule from Douglas:

Monday's games have the Black Widows vs. the Asps at 6 p.m. On Tuesday the Beetles and the Spiders play at at 5 p.m. followed by the Ticks and the Fleas at 7. On Wednesday it's the Scorpions vs. the wasps at 5 p.m. and the Asps vs. the Bees at 7 p.m.

My wife is home safe and sound.

It turns out that her niece works for American Airlines in La Paz and upgraded her to first class. That was huge because it's an overnight flight and they fed her twice. She said the food was great.

It was a long day for her and she teared up a little as she hugged her children and grand children.

The situation with my mother-in-law is still delicate but some optimism is apparent now.

My nieces sent me some drawings and wish lists for our return in July.

Got some shopping to do.

Fun shopping.

AAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGG

My wife's flight was cancelled because for some reason the flight from Miami to Bolivia was cancelled. American Airlines makes a loop. Miami-La Paz-Santa Cruz(Bolivia's 2nd largest city-Miami.

So she gets an extra day with the family. But it costs her six hours in extra travel time because her normal flights are full or something.

She leaves tonite at 5:40PM my time and arrives in Vancouver on Monday at 5:50PM

Classic movie line of the day:

"Take me Garth."

"Where? I'm low on gas and you need a jacket."

I wonder how many Campbell 22 jerseys the Blackhawks sold after that movie came out.

I wonder if you know what I'm talking about.

Doesn't matter. Nobody comments anyway.

Party on.

So I've been watching a lot of movies over the past few days. I told you what I thought of Frida.

I saw three movies that I really didn't care for.

Flags Of Our Fathers

I haven't liked anything I've seen that was directed by Clint Eastwood. This one was just boring.

The Good Sheppard

Boring and fragmented.

Volver

For me this movies was so bad I turned it off after about 20 minutes.

I'm lying on my back in bed all toasty warm and feeling like a post so you get one. I love you iBook.

This cold I have is in it's last days and something I ate kept me up all night so I called in sick. They never believe you when you call in sick and they seem to get annoyed but they can't deny sick leave and I have big sick leave balance and I'm very fortunate to have a job that allows this situation.

My wife comes home on Sunday. After all the worry it seems that the problem may have been a potentially lethal combination of prescription medicine. When they took my mother-in-law to her arthritis doctor he went threw the roof. He saw the meds she was taking. He said that the combination was poisoning her and he felt that was the whole problem.

All of the tests that she has been through for cancer have been negative so far.

I am sure that had my wife not gone down when she did her mother might very well have died. My wife seems to be the strong one of the family and seeing that she knew she had little time down there she set up appointments and forced her mother to go. Another factor was probably money.

So all seems to be a mood of relief now and my wife says she misses me and her grandchildren. She said it in that order but I'm sure the reverse order is the correct order.

I cannot thank you all enough for your warm wishes and prayers during this time of wory for us. Mine are always there when/if you need them my friends,

Post #1100 is an angry post.

Don Imus referred to the Rutgers University Women's Basketball Team as "nappy headed hos". For my international readers, that team made it to the national championship game and lost to Tennessee.

If Don Imus had any self respect he would quit his job and go away.

I don't expect him to be fired because I don't believe that CBS Radio or MSNBC TV have any self respect. All they have are board rooms full of suits looking to keep their fat wallets and executive wash rooms.

UPDATE: Both MSNBC and CBS have dumped Don Imus. I had email both entities calling for Imus to be fired.

The United States has freedom of speech but never believe that because of that, people can say things without being held accountable for their words.

White Stripes
The Who

Joni Mitchell

Llegas (Bolivian)
Emmerson Lake and Palmer

A good start but still a long long way to go.

NOTICE: This is my first post using my laptop. I am now either way cool or way geeky.

My mother-in-law is out of the hospital but the situation does not look good. The wife may be down there for some time.

Daughter in room. Didn't take it but I like it

My mother-in-law is back home now but a battery of tests remain. My wife is having a grand time with her family. She SO deserves that. We will be back in July but she will want to be running around with me and the kids then and this trip will make her feel better about the over night trips we will be taking.

Now, back to ME!

Four smoking hot women came up to me at work and one asked, "do you want us all at once?". Then they all laughed when, without missing a beat, your humble narrator responded, "hell yes!".

They were on their way to Vegas but were already there in my minds. They SO wanted me and were undressing me in their minds.

Four day weekend on. Yeah buddy those are so nice.
