We learned that my Aunt Teresa passed away 10 days ago. Sometimes news from Bolivia is late getting to us because it's too expensive for them to call us.

My Aunt Teresa loved me like no other aunt that I have and I loved her right back. I saw her in May when I was in Bolivia and now I am very glad that I did. My Uncle Lucho passed away a couple of years ago not long after I took this photo. His kidneys were failing and his death wasn't unexpected.

My Aunt's death was a sad surprise.
