Coro Coro is a small copper mining town three hours from La Paz. I spent the last two months of my Mormon mission there. This is a picture of the main plaza and it really sets the mood of the whole town.

Missionary work had failed to yield any results for years in this town and after me the missionaries were taken out of Coro Coro.

I spent my two months there basically making friends with the locals. I was a very liked guy by most and as the tallest guy in town I was the star attraction of the annual basketball tournament.

I played on the hospital team. We won it all.
