Flickr groups
I've been browsing the groups in Flickr, hence the clever title of this post, and there is something for everybody and some things for nobody. You can join groups that take shots of cats and cows bent on taking over the world or you can join groups that take shots of jeweled breasts and uncircumcised penises. I kinda wonder if the two latter groups are merely setups to lure people into deep, dark corners of the internet since there are no pictures posted in either.
There certainly is a "wrong side of the tracks" internet because we hear of people yanked out of that side and sent to prison where they seem to belong. Then in prison they can sue the government and win access to their old internet neighborhood while getting free medical and three hots a day.
I liked the group called "Don'ts" all about fashion gone wrong and "How Embarrassing" about pictures that were taken of a person who now certainly regrets what seemed like a cool idea at the time.
Two groups need no explanation. Lowbrow and World's largest/smallest.
There is one group called Bambi love which I first thought was all about strippers but turned out to be people in love with the Disney character. I am WAY tempted to join just to post my "deer suicide area" sign.
Should I?
